This position is reserved for an academic currently employed in a higher education institution. This position is envisioned as a one to two-year stint, and it shifts alternatively between Canada and Scotland. In its inaugural year, this position is appointed. The Executive Director facilitates online meetings and formal arrangements.
Working closely with the Executive Director and the Steering Committee, this position provides the direction of the CSAN for the academic year. This academic may be a current professor, or emeritus.
This position manages the website, introductions, online meetings, informal relations, and the website.
Open to graduate students from Canada and Scotland, these two representatives share student perspectives and priorities.
Recognizing the important of primary and secondary education, these representatives from Canada and Scotland provide valued insight into the current direction of education, and the students headed toward higher education.
This is a non-academic member who brings new perspective and experience in one of the disciplines. A business leader might be a good example, or a specialist in well-being.
